Emergency services were called to the roll over on the Western Highway, near the intersection of Black Bottom Road, about 6.15am.
The incident occurred near where a 59-year-old roadworker was struck and killed on the Western Highway at Trawalla on October 21.
Two occupants of the car were assessed by paramedics at the scene.
A man in his 70s was taken to Ballarat Base Hospital in a stable condition, along with a woman in her 40s who sustained minor injuries but was also in a stable condition.
It follows another accident at Bald Hills around 5pm yesterday. The driver was assessed by paramedics at the scene but did not require treatment or transport to hospital.
A police spokesperson said investigators had been told the vehicle was travelling along Schwarz Road about 5.20pm when for some unknown reason he lost control.
The vehicle rolled multiple times before coming to rest on its side.
The driver, a 29-year-old Mount Clear man, was not injured during the incident.
He received a fine for careless driving.
