Davies said changes would be made to the club's batting and bowling line-up to help change the pattern of recent games. He said while the club has been competitive, it needs to do more to get wins on the board.
"It's about going from being competitive to winning games," he said.
"We haven't been able to take early wickets and with our batting, we haven't been able to keep up with the required scoring rate, so we'll put some changes in place to change those elements."
Davies wasn't specific as to what changes would be made, saying only they would be decided at training on Thursday evening.
He said extras, dropped catches and cheap wickets were all things that needed to be improved.
At the other end, Buninyong will enter unchanged as it looks to build some momentum heading into Christmas. Captain Liam Brady said a win would keep the club in reach of finals.
Meanwhile Ballarat-Redan will go in unchanged from last week for its clash Brown Hill at Western Oval. The club is still without strike bowler Nathan Patrikeos, who sustained a side injury a fortnight ago.
