In a day of catch-up games from Monday's wash outs, Ballarat batted first at Marty Busch Recreation Reserve and reached 9-156 thanks to 43 from Isaac Hucker, 31 from Liam Mason, 23 from Alonzo Soloman and 22 not out from Matt Ryan.
Geelong then tried to chase down the target, but was bowled out for 120.
Xavier Moon claimed 3-24 and Soloman 2-9 to be the best of the Ballarat bowlers.
Other results fell the way of Ballarat and allowed the side to climb to second on the table and book a place in the play-off.
The boys will meet top team Gisborne in the final in Geelong on January 17.
Ballarat's under-15 outfit scored victory in its catch-up clash with Geelong at Queens Park Reserve in Highton on Friday.
Ballarat's score of 7-154 was too good for its rivals, which were bowled out for 112.
The team jumped to third after the victory and will be part of a 3v4 play-off on January 17.
Gisborne went the week unbeaten across both under-15 and under-17 grades.
