City's top runners combine for state relay success

Runners from Ballarat clubs combine to run under the Ballarat Regional Athletic Centre banner for the two-day event in Box Hill.

BRAC captured three state titles, including the open female 4x800-metre crown with Lucy Jones, Daisy Sudholz, Stephanie Mundy and Amy Canavan combining to win in a time of nine minutes and 25.65 seconds.

The under-16 girls combination of Armani Anderson, Molly Fraser, Grace Crowe and Grace Kelly won the 4x100m title in their division in 50.21.

Under-18 boys' medley relay team Ryan Hovey, Seth Mckenzie, Matthew O'Brien and Isaac Rossato claimed victory in 3:37.62.
