She faces 12 charges including reckless conduct endangering serious injury and other driving offences.
It is unknown when she will appear in court.
EARLIER: A 31-year-old woman has been arrested following a high-speed pursuit across Ballarat and Creswick on Sunday morning.
A 31-year-old woman has been arrested following a high-speed pursuit across Ballarat and Creswick on Sunday morning.
Police allege they saw the Maryborough woman travelling at high speed in a Holden Commodore on Kline Street in Canadian about 9.10am but she failed to stop and avoided police.
The police air wing was then used to help track the woman throughout Ballarat and Creswick before the alleged driver got stuck along a railway track on Gillies Road in Creswick.
The accused then exited the car, ran a short distance and attempted to hide before being arrested shortly after.
The woman is now in police custody and assisting police with their inquiries.
