A teenager has been remanded in custody after being charged with 12 alleged offences relating to trespassing into people's houses in the night and stealing cars.

The 17-year-old appeared at a Children's Court on Monday and did not make an application for bail.
Charge sheets, obtained by The Courier, show the accused allegedly trespassed into a Mount Pleasant home on Wednesday while the resident was home and stole a Ford Mondeo from Golden Point.
Police allege he robbed another man of his shoes on Thursday and trespassed into a shed in Ballarat with intent to steal.
He is accused of entering a Rowe Street house with intent to steal between Thursday and Friday and stealing a Peugeot car.
The teen is charged with driving recklessly on the wrong side of the road in Ballarat on Friday, placing other people in danger of serious injury.
Police allege he entered a Victoria Street home on Friday with intent to steal and stole a Mercedes valued at $60,000 from Wendouree on Friday.
He is also charged with possessing a controlled weapon and attempting to commit aggravated burglary.
The accused was remanded into custody and will return to court next week.
