Ballarat Associated Schools will compete in the Rowing Victoria State Championship regatta in Nagambie this weekend.
One week after Head of the Lake, the schools will make the nearly two-and-a-half hour drive for Saturday and Sunday's fixture.

All events that the schools will be involved in will be raced over the traditional 2000 metres as is the case at Head of the Lake.
Ballarat Grammar School and St Patrick's College will take their open first and seconds crews to fight it out in the male school coxed four open division one and division two categories.
Ballarat Clarendon College are taking their top three boys open crews, their thirds to compete in the male school coxed four open division three category.
St Patrick's will also combine their first and seconds to compete in the male school eight open division one.
They will come up against Brighton, Carey, Caulfield, Geelong and Melbourne Grammar Schools, as well as Geelong, Haileybury, Scotch, St Kevin's, Wesley and Xavier Colleges.
Ballarat Grammar boys open first crew will be aiming for back-to-back state titles following their victory in the event last year.
Loreto College, Ballarat Grammar and Ballarat Clarendon will all take their top three open girls crews to compete in the female school coxed four open divisions.
Loreto have also entered two crews in the female school coxed four open division four and one in division five.
Ballarat Grammar has entered a fourth crew in the female school coxed four open division four and Ballarat Clarendon have entered a fourth crew into division five.
They will come up against Melbourne schools Caulfield and Carey Grammar School, Haileybury and Wesley College and Genazzano.
Loreto will be looking for another podium finish after they finished second in the race last year.
The event is another step towards the 2021 Australian Rowing Championships.
The regatta will move away from the traditional Sydney International Regatta Centre in Penrith and take place on Lake Barrington, Tasmania.
The week long event will run from March 22 till March 28.
LAKE Wendouree will play host to the Rowing Victoria Junior Boys' State Championship regatta on Saturday.
St Patrick's and Ballarat Clarendon College have entered their top five year 10 crews in to the male school coxed four year 10 divisions.
Damascus have entered their top two year 10 crews.
Ballarat Grammar has entered one crew into the male school coxed four year 10 division four.
They have also combined their top four crews into two seperate eight boats, that will row in the male school eight year 10 division one and two races.
St Patrick's have entered a crew into the male school eight year 10 division one race too.
Ballarat Clarendon will be aiming to back up their boys' year 10 division one Head of the Lake victory with a state title.
