Country Fire Authority units were called to the grass and scrub fire in a pine plantation on Kyle Street about 7.15pm on February 25.
Four units from Sebastopol, Buninyong and Ballarat City attended with support from Fire Rescue Victoria crews.
The fire burned to approximately 30 by 20 metres in size before it was brought under control at 7.37pm.

The fire was extinguished without damage to any structures and nobody was injured.
Crews issued a stop on the incident at 8.15pm.
Firefighters remained at the scene for some time to conduct blacking out operations.
Ballarat Crime Investigation unit detectives are investigating the fire.
The circumstances are under investigation but it is currently being treated as suspicious.
