The four-week run will see many of your favourite Sesame Street characters arrive in Ballarat, but there will still be plenty of traditional circus fun to be had as well.
Circus spokesman Simon Tait said with capacity reduced from the usual 950 to just over 300 due to COVID-safe regulations, the circus had decided to extend its run in Ballarat to four weeks.
"It's a thrill for us, we were off the road for 10 months and then the recent five-day lockdown upset the apple-cart, luckily we were able to get back on the road," he said.
"Because of the capacity issues, we have extended our season for four weeks.

"Ballarat has traditionally always been a terrific town for us, so we want to give everyone an opportunity that wants to come and be part of the fun."
Among the characters set to grace the stage include Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Grover and Bert and Ernie and Abby Cadabby.
Mr Tait said the circus was one form of entertainment that was always able to evolve, no matter what it faces.
"Circus has been evolving since the days of the Roman Colosseum. It's always been flexible and street wise, very adaptable," he said. "The theme is that everyone has a personal talent, everyone has something individual about themselves."
Mr Tait said a number of COVID-safe measures would be in place including a fumigation of the tent before every performance, sanitation stations and designated seating for groups.
"We're very conscious that we need to maintain a high standard," he said. "We are willing to do whatever we have to in order to make the show a success.
