Mr Bone is preparing to liven up the dance floor in the jive. The Dance Studio teacher Shelley Ross has already put the spotlight on Mr Bone's high-energy efforts, using him and dance partner Ashlei Ross to help lead lessons in a jive-themed group dance.
But best dancer is not the crown Mr Bone covets most in gala event Dancing With Our Stars. He wants to win the title of biggest money maker for his efforts.
The MasterChef contender and popular toastie guru raised more than $4700 in the past fortnight from a sold-out Tim's Trivia event at The Lake View. Mr Bone is passionate about supporting The Ballarat Foundation, the organisation behind the dance, and its suite of programs to break the cycle of disadvantage in the community.
He loved that people were calling past his toastie van at markets and checking in on his dancing progress.
It's been so nice to have that support from the Ballarat community and makes me appreciate this city.

"The support I've got from the Ballarat community has been unbelievable since I've been on MasterChef," Mr Bone said. "Even all the donations I had for trivia night. It's been so nice to have that support from the Ballarat community and makes me appreciate this city.
"The Ballarat Foundation is such an integral part of charity in Ballarat and hopefully we can raise as much money as we can."
Mr Bone was sitting sixth out of 10 contenders on the Dancing With Our Stars fundraising tally board, with more than $5100, on Sunday.
When it comes to the dancing part of his mission, Mr Bone said he still felt a lot of pressure similar to his MasterChef days in the lead-up to the dance-of. But he could hardly wait to his the dance floor.
"There is a lot of work leading up to one night and you hope you do okay on the night because there are no second chances," Mr Bone said. "But this is for a great cause. I'm lucky I've got the jive, it's a really happy and energetic dance."

"Not only is dancing a great work-out, it's working muscles I've never worked before," Mr Bone said.
"...It's a nice stress reliever."
