The multi-million dollar state government office is expected to open for workers from several government departments in April, but the only public-facing agency, VicRoads, will begin GovHub operations on May 10.
According to a news update, the VicRoads customer hub at GovHub will offer all services from 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, except in-person vehicle inspections and driving tests.

These two functions, as well as clearing defect notices without a roadworthy certificate, will still be available from the current Wendouree office, on Learmonth Road, which will be renamed the Ballarat Testing and Inspection Centre.
These will be the only services offered from Wendouree, according the news update.
At GovHub, the customer hub staff will be among 220 VicRoads workers making the move from Wendouree and from Kew, including 80 staff members from the customer services team in metro Melbourne.
VicRoads will be joined at Regional Development Victoria, State Revenue Office, Service Victoria, Consumer Affairs Victoria, Department of Education and Training and Department of Justice and Community Safety at the new building when it opens.
VicRoads will be the only government agency to move its customer services - "all other departments will be administrative offices only," it states.
It's not known if the Wendouree office will cease offering these services before the May 10 date.
A Department of Transport spokesperson said in a statement "we are pleased to be joining the new Ballarat GovHub, which will bring a range of Registration and Licensing Services to the community".
"The new building will operate under a strict COVID Safe Plan and Safe Operating Procedure," they added.
A Regional Development Victoria spokesperson said in a statement "the completion and opening of Ballarat's landmark $100 million GovHub remains on schedule to happen next month, subject to Victorian Government advice at the time".
It's understood about 600 workers from the government's various departments will be working from GovHub, though the exact breakdown from each agency, and how many workers are moving from Ballarat offices or Melbourne is not yet known.
