Police are investigating after a car crashed into a Mount Clear house early on Easter Sunday morning.

According to a police statement, it is believed a Honda SUV was travelling along Malbec Drive when the driver crashed into the front room of the house about 6am.
The driver, a 28-year-old Mount Pleasant man, allegedly returned a positive preliminary breath test and was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Two occupants who were asleep in the room at the time also sustained injuries.
A 28-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and a 30-year-old man was treated at the scene.
The house also sustained extensive damage to its front area.
