The last available tickets for Western Bulldogs v Brisbane Lions were snapped up early on Wednesday afternoon, just hours after the last public access positions went on sale.
With 75% capacity allowed at AFL matches due to COVID-19 restrictions, it means there will be just over 8000 people allowed to attend the match.
The usual capacity of Mars Stadium is 11,000.
The match is looming as one of the most anticipated matches of the round and arguably one of Ballarat's biggest match-ups since hosting its first AFL game in 2017.
The Western Bulldogs have won their first three matches and sit atop the AFL ladder, while the Lions are desperate for another win to square the win-loss ledger at 2-2.
The sell-out comes the day after Western Bulldogs CEO Ameet Bains told The Courier the club had begun negotiation talks to lock in a five-year deal to play in Ballarat.
Ballarat is forecast to reach a maximum of 15 degrees on Saturday, with showers likely in the afternoon and evening.
The match begins at 1.35pm.
