Dane Swan, a three-time best and fairest winner at Collingwood, will don the Creswick colours when it hosts Skipton on Saturday May 22.
Swan, along with former player agent Ricky Nixon, will run a sportsman's night at the club following his debut for the Wickers.
Creswick president Phil Judd told The Courier it was exciting for the club to lock Swan in for a game and get Nixon involved.
"It'll be good for the club and I suppose we've got a lot of young guys this year come to the club so it'll be a good bit of leadership on the ground and off the field," he said.
Judd expects Swan, now 37-years-old to play a full game, switching between the midfield and forward line.
Swan's resume is one of the best ever assembled, alongside the Brownlow medal and best and fairest's a Leigh Matthews Trophy, five All-Australian selections, two Anzac Day Medals and an AFL Coaches Association player of the year award.
