The female driver had been travelling north on Queens street when she lost control of her blue Commodore while driving over the railway overpass.
She then crashed through a fence and into the living room of a house on Scott Parade about 2.30am.
The driver, a 23-year-old Smythes Creek woman, and the occupants of the home escaped without injury.
The driver was then taken to a police station where she returned an evidentiary breath test of 0.186.
She is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and traffic offences.
All emergency services responded, including the Country Fire Authority and Fire Rescue Victoria.
The vehicle was removed from the house just before 4am, with the scene then left under the control of the State Emergency Service.
