Coach David Loader said it was great to be back and facing the perennially tough Falcons.
"Circumstances will be monitored very closely, but right now it's fantastic to be playing football this weekend," he said.
"I am extremely pleased how the group continues to accept the challenges each week, and as a coaching group that's all we can ask.
"We have had some great games against the Falcons over the years, and we are looking forward to this being no different."
Due to lockdown being extended for Metropolitan Melbourne, only regional sides will play, the Murray Bushrangers and Bendigo Pioneers the other game taking place on Sunday at Victoria Park, Echuca.
The NAB League is considered a junior league being an under-19 competition with the majority of its players 18-years-old or younger.
It does mean, however, that some players that are classified as top agers (19-years-old) need to apply for exemptions.
Fraser Marris is one of those for the Rebels, who is still awaiting the result of his application.
He has been named in the side in the hope that he can play.
Jack Bambury and James Van Es have also been named as inclusions.
Van Es is a member of the under-17 squad.
He joins Felix Fogarty and Aaron Cadman, who made their debuts for the Rebels in their round five win over the Eastern Ranges.
Nic Cushing and Tom Baulch have been forced out of the side.
The game will be streamed live across News Corp channels.
The AFL stated that the fixture will now become a week-by-week proposition, with decisions made in conjunction with the Victorian Government and health officials.
