Davies will join the 'Slick Chicks' alongside Sydney-based riders Ask De Bakker and Lee Craig as part of the first female only team for the July 24 and 25 challenge.
Currently in front at Superbike level at club level and sitting sitting second in the Victorian State Road Racing Championships, Davies said she was excited about the opportunity to ride with the female team.
"I have been a Motorcycle Road Racer for just under 20 years now and have competed in many different levels of the sport, currently racing in the Superbike category which is very commonly referred to as the pinnacle of motorcycle road racing," Davies said.
"I have been very fortunate to have some wonderful results in the past having won various state titles and club level championships.
"The Sydney five hour endurance event is something I have wanted to do for a long time and have finally had the opportunity to enter this year as part of an all Female Race Team.
This will be my first time racing at Sydney Motorsport Park and what better way to learn than with five hours worth of track time (between three riders)."
Davies was involved in a big crash in April at Winton where her bike caught on fire. "I tagged the white line and came off pretty hard, I strained some fingers, but fortunately managed to get out of it all right in the end," she said.
