Ancrum pleaded not guilty after he was referred to the independent AFL Goldfields tribunal by the Match Review Panel.
The onballer was charged for an incident late in the first quarter involving Lake Wendouree ruck Callum Harte.

Ancrum bends low to attempt to gather the ball and catches Harte on the head in the process.
Harte left the field after the incident but later returned to play.
On Wednesday night the tribunal found the charge sustained and suspended Ancrum for two games.
The ruling makes him unavailable for the Devils' trip to Redan, and a home match against top-of-the-table North Ballarat.
