The Creswick Woollen Mills has pledged that for every blanket bought during the month of July, they will distribute one blanket to their partner charities as a part of their annual blanket drive.
The Mill has already helped distribute close to 3000 blankets this year in partnership with several not-for-profit organisations, such as the 3BA Christmas in July appeal, and are hoping to get to 4000 this month through the community's support.
The initiative is aimed to help Australians experiencing homelessness by providing them with the comfort of home with the protective warmth of a blanket.
Creswick Woollen Mills executive director Boaz Herszfeld said helping people in need, such as those facing homelessness, was an issue his team was passionate about.

"It's something as simple as keeping someone warm, or keeping a family warm - it's a pretty special thing to do," he said.
The annual blanket drive began in 1996 and so far has helped distribute more than $1,000,000 worth of blankets to those in need.
Mr Herzfeld said the initiative was started by his late grandfather and Mill founder Paul Ryzowy as a way to assist those in need with their work of making blankets.
"It's really important to find a way to help other people in society and it was important to our family to give back to the community," Mr Herszfeld said.
"We all should find a way to help others - there are so many things out there that people can do," he said.
Mr Herszfeld encouraged people to get involved this July and help those in need during the coldest month of the year.
"It will be a lot of blankets for a lot of people in need," he said.
"It's an obvious way that we could help, there's nothing worse than being cold."
