However, it is not yet known exactly when the current lockdown is expected to end.
Premier Daniel Andrews has confirmed lockdown will not be lifted at midnight Tuesday, saying more details will be released as soon as possible.
He said a more concrete timeframe could be announced on Tuesday.

"As soon as I can confirm for Victorians how much longer and in what circumstances, I will do that. And I hope that will be around this time tomorrow," Mr Andrews said in his press conference on Monday morning.
Of the 13 cases detected overnight, all are in Melbourne except one household contact in both Bacchus Marsh and Mildura.
There are already four new cases confirmed this morning that will be included in tomorrow's daily tally. All four were isolating while infectious.

The news comes after two locations in central Victoria at Ravenswood and Wycheproof were added as Tier 1 sites to the state's list of exposure COVID-19 sites.
There have been no new exposure sites around the Ballarat area added over the weekend.
Mr Andrews said if lockdown was lifted, it would be highly likely that the state would need another lockdown in the near future.
"We will not be ready to lift these restrictions at midnight tomorrow night. To do so would not be the right thing to do," he said.
"It would be perhaps a few days of sunshine and then a very high chance we'd be back in lockdown again, that's what I'm trying to avoid, trying to make sure we do this properly and bring these cases to an end.
"This lockdown will be on only as long as it needs to be, not a moment longer but we don't want a situation where we fail to extinguish this, fail to end these chains of transmission only to open again and close again shortly thereafter."
