"I still think I've got a fair bit to go in terms of my consistency and my performance and just learning the game even more.
"You look at guys who have played 200 or 300 (games) and they just keep getting better and better.
"There are a lot of older guys in the comp that are playing great footy right now and I think I can keep improving."
McClugagge, a former Ballarat Clarendon College student, joined Brisbane with the third pick of the 2016 national draft.
The two-time 22under22 squad member has only missed a handful of games during his five seasons at the highest level.
"It's nice to be able to reflect at times and look back on all the work that's gone into it," McCluggage said.
"I feel incredibly lucky that I've been able to get through injury-free to this stage and I've been trusted early on by the coaching staff to play games when I might not have been performing brilliantly.
"I think that's meant I've been able to develop a bit quicker."
McCluggage will mark the milestone alongside best friend Jarrod Berry, with the fellow former Rebel and Ballarat Clarendon College boarder returning from a groin injury.
