Police have charged a truck driver over a crash that killed Wendouree grandmother Angela Loader.

Major Collison Investigation Unit detectives announced on Friday that they charged a 45-year-old Golden Point man with dangerous driving causing death, drive in manner dangerous, careless driving and fail to give way to a pedestrian.
Police will allege Ms Loader was struck by the garbage truck being driven by the man while crossing Doveton Street, at the intersection of Eyre Street, about 8.35am on April 16.
Ms Loader sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital where she later died.
The man has been bailed to face Ballarat Magistrates' Court on 18 August.
Shortly after her death, Ms Loader's family spoke to The Courier of their grief and paid tribute to her life.
She was described as a "wonderful person" who was strong, selfless, kind and patient.
"She was very down to earth and would never say a bad word about anyone. You couldn't fault her," said her daughter Michelle Huie.
"She always had the attitude of just getting on with things and having a brave face...She was definitely the bravest person I know, I don't know what we will do without her.
"Our family won't be the same. She is definitely going to leave a big hole we can't fill, not just for us kids but for her brothers and sisters too."
