The five-year-old gave the former jumps jockey his first black-type winner as a trainer when he scored in the listed Regal Roller Stakes, 1200m, at Caulfield last month.
Pintoff will be attempting to make its two listed races on end when he steps out at Moonee Valley on Saturday.
He lines up in the $160,000 Chautauqua Stakes, 1200m, aiming to add to an already impressive record of six wins in 10 starts.
There's a lot to like about Pintoff.
"He gives himself every chance, he puts himself there and if they're good enough, they'll run him down, if not, they won't," Cully told racing.com.
Cully fine tuned Pintoff for the assignment with a gallop on the Ballarat course proper early this week.
Archie Alexander will looking to add to an already strong week, which featured a double at Sandown on Wednesday.
He has Caulfield and Melbourne Cups entry Barade ii the Powerflo Solutions Handicap, 2040m, after a first-up second.
