The league board and netball executives met on Friday night to discuss options for the remainder of the season and owing to uncertainty of COVID-19 restrictions, have pulled the pin.
In a Facebook post on the league's page, president John Box said it was a tough call to make.
"As president of the Mininera and District Football League, this is one of the hardest decisions that I have been involved in," he said.
"At this stage, six weeks out of football is a long time to get back and going."
The board will meet on Wednesday night to discuss the league dinner, presentations and awards for the top teams.
