From Easton Wood-fired pizza to (Josh) Dunkley's doughnuts, various forms of Libbanara pasta, spaghetti and lasgane to Bont burgers and The Western's temporarily re-branded The Western Bulldogs Hotel, Ballarat's foodie scene has got in the festive spirit.
On spirits, Roy Hammond has a Yield to None (the team mantra) gin and tonic and Dr Fill has a Sons of the West cocktail but there have been no sightings yet of any ice cold Beveridges named in honour of the Bulldogs' coach.
The Forge director Tim Matthews said his pizzeria had been keen to get involved in the Plate Up Ballarat initiative, even the few Melbourne supporters on staff, as a way to say thanks to the level of work and engagement the Bulldogs had put into the community of their adopted second home.
It comes after a particularly tough week for The Forge, which was one of the first exposure sites in the city's COVID outbreak.
"Ballarat community support has been amazing and staff have been working hard to keep us operating," Mr Matthews said. "We're just doing takeaway for the weekend to regroup, we'll re-open dining on Monday, but we really wanted to get involved."
Other participating venues include Red Lion Hotel, The Park Hotel, Bake and Grind Donuts, the Bunch of Grapes and Griffin Burger.
There is also The Turret Cafe's rhetorical offering: Would Easton Wood eat tacos? You can munch on that one while watching the game.

- Bont Burger - Second to None: Beef Burger with tomato, cheese lettuce, pickles, mustard and sauce. Served with chips.
