An athlete who trained at Llanberris Athletics Centre last Sunday has tested positive to COVID-19.

The athlete trained at the centre between 9.30am and 11.59am on October 3. They were confirmed positive to the virus after receiving their result on Tuesday, October 5.
Ballarat Regional Athletics Centre members received a letter with information relating to the positive case.
"The athlete's coach was contacted by the athlete and he has contacted all the athletes he coached that morning and they have subsequently been tested," BRAC president Stephen McLennan said.

"Following DHHS advice, any person who was at Llanberris between 9.30am Sunday, October 3 to 5pm Tuesday, October 5, is recommended to immediately isolate, get tested and remain in isolation until they have received their results."
Llanberris Athletics Centre has not been added to the state government's online public exposure sites list, however not all exposure sites are published on its webpage.
Victoria has added another 1638 cases in a single day along with two deaths, bringing the number of active infections in the state to 15,074.
Ballarat had 10 new cases announced on Wednesday and new exposure sites were added.
