The Gold Diggers are on a recruiting drive for new players to represent Ballarat and to fill the gaps left by those who are now ineligible because of their age.
One of our Junior Gold Diggers, Dusty Taylor-Irwin, who bowls for Creswick, has recently won the 'Jared Tallent Junior Sportsperson Award for 2021'.
Taylor-Irwin has won the Ballarat Indoor Bowls Singles as well as the Victorian Indoor Junior Singles.
She has represented Victoria in both indoor and outdoor bowls and was named in the Victorian representative side to play Tasmania in both indoor and outdoor bowls, which unfortunately had to be cancelled.
She was the runner-up in the Under 18 State Open Triples Event and runner-up in the Girls Pairs Event.
