However, the competition will once again boast two grades with eight teams in each.
"We're excited to have competition returning and thankful to all players and parents who have remained patient as we waited to get clearance to play," MPTA President Marcus Driscoll said.
"It's also important to acknowledge the amazing work that has been done by all volunteers over the last couple of months in ensuring we could return to the court as soon as it was possible."
Round one will see grand final rematches, with Smeaton taking on Mt Prospect in A Grade and Kingston Gold going up against Ballarat Berties in A1 Grade.
Play is set to kick off on Saturday at 1pm.
"Ultimately, we're just hoping that everyone enjoys being back out on court and that we continue to offer an awesome social experience on and off the court," Creswick & District Community Bank Senior Mixed Pennant Coordinator Peter Bertoncini said.
The junior mixed Pennant is also set to begin on Saturday, while the midweek ladies Pennant and the twilight corporate cup will both begin on Wednesday, November 10.
