NEW CASES: 2 (down from 4 yesterday)
ACTIVE CASES: 60 (up from 59 yesterday)
Ballarat has recorded two new COVID cases to in the 24 hours to midnight on Thursday, as cases in other regional centers continue to climb.
There are 60 active infections in the City of Ballarat, while the Moorabool Shire has recorded four new cases, taking its active tally to 91.
The Golden Plains recorded three cases while the Hepburn and Pyrenees Shires did not record any.
Bendigo (20 new/241 active), Geelong (34 new/425 active), Shepparton (33 new/377 active, Wodonga (11 new/378 active) and Latrobe (35 new/448 active) continue to see COVID infections higher than Ballarat.

NEW CASES: 1,343 (up from 1,247 yesterday)
DEATHS: 10 (up from 9 yesterday)
ACTIVE CASES: 18, 952 (up from 17,674 yesterday)
IN HOSPITAL: 634 (down from 660 yesterday)
IN ICU: 109 (down from 114 yesterday)
ON VENTILATOR: 73 (down from 78 yesterday)
Victoria has recorded more than 1,300 new daily COVID cases, an increase on Thursday's figures.
The state recorded 1,343 cases in the 24 hours to midnight on Thursday, 96 more than the day before.
There are 18,952 active cases across the state, up from 17,674 on Thursday.
Ten people also died in the latest reporting period
Despite an increase in new cases, the number of people in hospital has decreased to 634.
There are 109 people in the ICU and 73 are on a ventilator.
Ballarat recorded four new COVID cases in the 24 hours to midnight on Thursday.
There are currently 59 active COVID cases within the LGA.
Meanwhile, travel between Australia's two most populous states has resumed for people who are fully vaccinated after Victoria lifted border restrictions with NSW.
NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet and Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews issued a joint statement highlighting the change, which came into effect on Friday.
Victoria has declared that all NSW local government areas are now 'green zones'.
This means there are no testing or quarantine requirements for NSW residents travelling to Victoria, although visitors will still need to obtain a permit verifying they don't have COVID-19.
Unvaccinated Victorians are still not allowed into NSW for travel or recreation.
