It was pretty much the perfect performance from the reigning title holders, bowling their opponents out for just 68 in less than 20 overs, before opening batters Lillee Barendsen and Imogen O'Brien put the screws on the win, reaching the target in just 12.4 overs.
With the ball, everything the Bolts tried turned to gold.

Emily McNeight picked up 2-2 in just 2.1 overs, Charli McLennan got 2-6 off her two overs, while three other bowlers chipped in with one each.
On top of that, the fielding was top-notch, affecting three run outs, all of middle order batters when Holy Trinity would have been looking to consolidate after a couple of quick wickets early.
Any thoughts of some gremlins in the pitch leading to the low score of the home team were quickly dispelled as the Bolts openers took their opponents apart.
The pair combined for an unbeaten stand of 72, Barendson making 37 while O'Brien made 29 in what was the perfect start to the new season.
The seconds also had a win over Keilor, but the Kookaburra Women's League team fell agonisingly close in its season opener Twenty20 with Sunbury.
Chasing what looked a solid score of 3-101 from 20 overs, the Bolts chased incredibly hard but would fall just three runs short of victory, finishing at 7-98 from their 20 overs.
Victoria Berton top scored with 19 before being run out, which in someways proved the difference between the sides as plenty of players got starts, but no-one was able to go on and make that 20-30 required to anchor the innings.
The Bolts seniors get back onto Eastern Oval on Sunday where they will host Coburg with Kookaburra squad also at home.
Coburg went down to Melbourne University in its first game of the season.
