The delayed fixtures include two involving Ballarat-based Perth Lynx.
Lynx had been set to open its month-long stay in Victoria with games against Southside Flyers at Dandeong on Thursday and Sydney Uni Flames in Traralgon on Saturday, but each has been called off.
The WNBL said it was acting on the advice of governments and health authorities in the interest of the health and safety of the players, coaches, clubs, staff and fans.
The interruption is yet to stretch into next week, when Southside is scheduled to play Sydney on Wednesday in the first of a series of WNBL games in Ballarat.
Lynx is set to play the first of its three games at Ballarat Sports and Events Centre on Sunday, January 16.
The postponements are another setback for Perth, which has played only one game so far this season, while other teams have played up to four.
Lynx spent the first month of the season training in Perth before opening its campaign with a two-point loss to Adelaide Lightning in Adelaide on Sunday.
Lynx, which arrived in Ballarat on Monday and are staying in the city for the rest of the month, reported a clean bill of health for players and staff on Friday.
