Between them the pair have played 306 first grade matches and were both members of the Roosters' 2002-03 premiership side.
Cations' 19-year firsts career entrenched him as one of the club's greats.
With 550 wickets to his name*, 244 of them for the 1st XI, Cations is the Roosters' second highest wickettaker in history, only behind BCA hall of fame member Peter Thompson.
The seamer took 44 wickets during the Roosters' 2002-03 premiership season, including 8-17 in the grand final which stands as the club's best individual grand final performance on record and the third-best 1st XI performance ever.

A handy lower-order batter, Cations is one of only 10 Roosters on record, alongside Wright, to score a double century.
Off the field, Cations served on the general committee for 11 years and was awarded life membership in 2019.
After initially breaking into the 1st XI as a 16-year-old legspinner, Wright went on to become one of the Roosters' most reliable batters.
He is the second highest runscorer in club history (7.588), second equal for club hundreds (12) and fifth for half-centuries (31).
Wright scored 3387 runs at an average of 25.28 over a 24-year firsts career to set himself as the club's sixth-highest 1st XI scorer in history.
The two-time MVP has also been a dedicated servant off the field having been named the best club-person in 2007-08 and awarded life membership in 2012.
Wright was on the general committee for 11 years, including one as president, one as vice-president and two as secretary.
