A small Victorian town will transform into the set of an action film starring Hollywood actor Liam Neeson this summer.

Former gold-mining town Walhalla, 185km east of Melbourne in Gippsland, will be taken over for three weeks in January for filming of Ice Road 2: Road To The Sky.
The film is a sequel to 2021's The Ice Road which saw Neeson play an ice driver on a mission to rescue trapped diamond miners in Canada.
The town's population of about 30 residents will swell with about 90 cast and crew in the area on most days, and up to 200 at certain times.
A letter from Servo Productions addressed to residents, stakeholders and business owners said it planned to transform Walhalla's Star Hotel and surrounds into a Nepalese marketplace.
"You will notice cosmetic changes to Walhalla's Star Hotel and other landmarks on Main Rd," the letter said.
"Most notably at the Walhalla Rotunda, the Fire Station Museum and carpark off Right Hand Branch Rd.
"These buildings will be returned to their original heritage colours shortly after filming has completed."
Stunts with large vehicles, special effects and prop guns are planned with traffic management to support the public.
Residents have been warned of delays of up to 10 minutes on Main Rd at times during filming.
"We will endeavour to minimise disruption to locals and visitors as much as possible," the letter said.
Pictures posted on Facebook show changes have already been made to some landmarks with exterior walls painted blue and green.
