POLICE
Police have praised Ballarat's behaviour at the CHFL grand finals at the weekend, but not all areas around the state are in the same boat. A grand final match at Heatherton saw brawl break out with players and supporters after players being heckled and jeered when leaving the field at half time. The game was then abandoned after one of the teams refused to return to the grounds. No charges have been laid and the investigation continues.
FIRE
Ballarat City Fire was called to a gas lead at about 8pm on Wendouree Parade around Lake Wendouree Sunday night, before later being called to a tree fire at 10.14pm on the corner of Grandlee Drive and Villiers Drive in Wendouree.
AMBULANCE AND SES
Ambulance and SES have nothing to report.
TRAINS
There are no disruptions to the Ballarat-Melbourne line. Visit the V/Line website for up to date information.
