The Lions are planning to put everything on the line in the top-of-table battle at the City Oval on Saturday.
Redan maintained its unbeaten start to the season with an emphatic 35-point win in Saturday's fifth round clash at Marty Busch Reserve.
Only East Point, which is also undefeated, is above it on the ladder.
While outside the walls of the "Den" Redan is the surprise packet of the competition so far, this is not the view of first-year playing coach Jarrett Giampaolo.
Giampaolo, who described the victory over Sebastopol as the Lions' most complete performance of the year, said too many had written them off too early based on last season when they missed the finals.
He said Redan's 2018 form had been better than it looked on the surface.
Giampaolo said they were now reaping the benefit of games put into to youngsters, with these players and other newcomers fitting in well and producing the goods to complement in-form top-end experience.
"We'll be having a real crack. We can't wait," Giampaolo said in relation to taking on the might of East Point.
He said as had the been the case all year, Redan would be completely focused on what it could do, rather how East Point played. "Our focus is on our game."
Giampaolo believes Redan can go into the game without feeling the pressure of expectations.
