Victoria has recorded 450 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, Premier Daniel Andrews has confirmed.

The figures is slightly down on Thursday and considerably less than the record 725 on Thursday.
Sadly, there were 11 people die as a result of the virus.
The people who died aged from their 50s through to their 90s, seven of which were connected to aged care settings.
There are 7637 active cases in Victoria and 2454 cases with an unknown source.
Speaking to the media, Mr Andrews put out a special call of thanks to all people involved in the hospital system.
He urged people to continue following the rules to help keep health workers safe.
"They are not the front line, they are the last line of defence," he said.
"We want our health care workers to be exposed to less of this virus."

He also said there would be further assistance from the Australian Defence Force to help with the containment effort.
The majority of the ADF's work will be in doorknocking confirmed COVID cases to ensure they are home.
Mr Andrews said of about 1150 door knocks yesterday, about 1000 people were home.
This followed news earlier in the week where about 800 out of 3200 were found not be home.
"I'm very grateful to those Victorians who are doing the right thing and ensuring they are where they should be," he said.

Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton said the number of 450 was "reasonable".
He said there had been flatter days previously before big spikes and remained cautious about what the future holds.
Prof Sutton said it would still be some time before the effects of the stage four restrictions were evident.
He said it could be to 14 days before an expected drop-off in case numbers occurred.
In Ballarat, there were three new active cases confirmed on Thursday to take the running total to 16 in the city.
Friday's figures are due to be released on Friday afternoon.
In shires adjoining Ballarat, numbers are slightly lower.
There are 11 active cases in Moorabool, 12 in Golden Plains and one each in Hepburn and Pyrenees shires.
