Buninyong's Tyler Dittloff was effective with the ball, finishing with figures of 3-40 in his first game for the club.
Heading into the second innings, Brady said his side was confident.
"We just wanted to be really positive and bat with intent," Brady said.
"We did that, our openers did a good job and got us off to a good start."

Danza Dominant
Meanwhile Darley import Danza Hyatt led the defending premier to a 48-run victory over last season's runner up Golden Point.
The Pointies, 9-169, were unable to account for Darley's 208. Hyatt's opening effort of 72 laid the backbone to victory for the club, which hasn't lost a match in over 12 months.
It also brought a smile to the face of the import, who has been unable to get home to his family in Jamaica due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"It's been an extremely tough year," he said.
"The wait has been crazy, I'm stuck here, but it was nice be out doing what I love again."
