Point's first innings total of 7-241 proved just out of reach of Naps-Sebas, who produced an admirable run chase of 228.
White entered the crease early after opener Josh Pegg fell cheaply after eleven minutes. His 74-run partnership with Manjula De Zoysa (44) steadied Point's innings before it lost a string of wickets in quick succession.

"We did get tied down in the middle and lost a few before me and Andy (Warrick) put on a good partnership," White said.
"It was good to get a few runs but more important to get the win."
Golden Point captain Andrew Warrick was solid, scoring 44 runs in what was his first game of the season.
White said it was good to see his captain in uniform again.
"It's more depth for us obviously, and it's pretty important that he is there," he said.
Meanwhile Wendouree overcame Buninying by 47 runs to to win its first match of the 2020-21 BCA season.
Miller anchors Red caps
A balanced effort with the bat anchored the club's first innings score of 8-229. The Bunnies were unable to account for the total, getting bowled out for 182.
Wendouree opener Sam Miller led the way for the Red Caps, scoring 72 runs off 98 balls. He was backed up by Heath Pyke (30) and Thomas Le Lievre's knock of 32.
Le Lievre' was just as effective with the ball, taking figures of 3-39, while Lucas Argall garnered 3-32.
Opening bat Robert Hind made 72 for Buninyong.
