Newman is the 23rd bowler to achieve the feat at the Ballarat centre since Peter Gallagher bowled the first 300 game in 1997.

She achieved the feat in the Wanderers league playing for the Just Add a Generation team on Friday night.
She said it was great to finally achieve the milestone after coming awfully close to it in previous weeks.
"(It felt) very, very good, it was crazy. I got the first eight (strikes) before, the other day I bowled eight, then missed, then three," she said.
With the game being completed in a competition, Newman will now be recognised on the Tenpin Bowling Australia 300 game honour board.
