The former Ballarat Rush star put on a team-high 18 points as Virginia Tech slumped to a 90-48 second-round loss against reigning national champion Baylor.
Amoore said it was disappointing for the Hokies' run to so early, having made the national tournament for the first time in 15 years.

"They just outmuscled us," the guard said after the game.
"They're obviously bigger and stronger and hustled more, and we couldn't really compete with them body-wise."
The Hokies were hoping to reach the final 16 for the first time since 1999 after edging past Marquette in the opening round, 70-63.
Amoore posted 13 points, five assists and four rebounds in the win.
However, the tough result against Baylor brings the season to a close for Amoore's side.
"They have those two big kids and they draw a lot of attention, but then a lot of their off-guards started hitting shots," she said.
"They just played an all-around good scoring game, and we didn't really have an answer for it."
