A host of former Head of the Lake rowers, current school crews and club based crews won a total of 19 medals over the week.

In total, seven gold medals, seven silver medals and five bronze medals were won.
Former Loreto College rower Laura Foley claimed two gold medals rowing for Melbourne University in the under 23 women's coxless pair and coxless four.
Sam Oostendorp enjoyed a medal filled regatta. He won bronze for Victoria in the interstate lightweight men's coxless four.
He claimed gold in the open lightweight men's coxless four for Banks Rowing Club and silver in the open lightweight men's coxless pair.
He also won silver in the open lightweight men's coxed eight in a composite crew with Barwon.
Former Ballarat Grammar School rower and Head of the Lake winner Sophie Reinehr joined Oostendorp in rowing for Victoria.
She won a silver medal in the interstate women's youth eight.
She also claimed a gold medal and a bronze medal rowing for Mercantile Rowing Club stroking the under-21 coxed four and coxed eight crews.
St Patrick's College open firsts crew claimed gold in the schoolboy's coxed four and bronze in the under-19 coxed four event.
Ballarat Grammar School boys won multiple medals, starting with a gold medal in the under 19 men's coxed eight in a composite crew with Melbourne University.
It claimed a second gold medal in the schoolboy's coxed quad scull sprint.
It was runner up to St Patrick's in the schoolboy's coxed four and also claimed a bronze medal in the under 19 men's double scull.
Ballarat Grammar girls first crew took home a silver medal in the schoolgirl's coxed quad scull sprint.
It just missed out on a podium finish in the schoolgirl's coxed four, finishing fourth.
The Ballarat Clarendon College girls firsts crew finished on the podium after a tight race in the schoolgirl's coxed four, winning a silver medal.
The boys managed fifth place in the schoolboy's coxed four.
Loreto College open girls firsts crew finished sixth in the schoolgirl's coxed four.
Ballarat City Rowing Club had a host of crews entered in a range of events and came home with a silver medal in the club men's double scull and a bronze in the open men's quad scull sprint.
Wendouree Ballarat Rowing Club had crews entered too, its best result coming in the under-19 women's coxed four, finishing eighth.
Ballarat City club captain Bridget Clarke said it was a great result for Ballarat and its rowing reputation.
She told The Courier on multiple occasions the announcer mentioned Ballarat and its contribution to the national program.
"He said that without Ballarat, they wouldn't be able to run the nationals program because the Ballarat clubs and schools offer such a big cohort and they're so competitive when they turn up," she said.
"It's just phenomenal, it's so good. You sort of stand and pinch yourself."
