They jumped out to a quick 18-5 lead, their defense smothering Beaufort's offensive movement and feeding into the goal circle.
At the other end of the court Cynna Kydd couldn't miss, shooting multiple shots from one or two steps in from the goal circle line and sinking them with ease.
Beaufort, on the other hand, was struggling shooting wise, unable to make the most of its opportunities once the ball was inside the goal circle.
Springbank's defenders in Bethany Smith and Katarina Lindkvist were strong on Crows goal shooter Eliza Christian, despite her holding a height advantage over the two.
Their ability to cut off passing lanes and create deflections from Beaufort's goal circle entries made life difficult for the visitors.
Their day was highlighted during the second term when Lindkvist was forced from the court mid-play to strap a knee, leaving Smith to defend by herself.
In the two to three minutes Lindkvist spent off, Beaufort didn't score a goal, Springbank's team defence and Smith's individual play too strong.
The Crows enjoyed a nice run midway through the third quarter but it mattered little, the Tigers carrying on to be 34 goals the better by game's end.
The Tigers now look forward to a clash with Hepburn in round six, who are unbeaten and on top of the Central Highlands Netball League A Grade ladder. Beaufort will host Newlyn.
Fellow premiership threats Buninyong handed Gordon similar treatment, 37 goals the better at home.
Fresh off a bye in round four, the defensive side of the Bombers' game was superb, keeping Gordon to 14 goals and adding 51 of their own.
The win keeps Buninyong in second place on the ladder on 20 points alongside Hepburn (first) and Learmonth (third).
It travels to face Dunnstown in round six to face the Towners who sit seventh on the ladder.
In other results Carngham-Linton claimed its first win of the season over Ballan, 50-39. Waubra joined it on the winners list for the first time, too strong for Creswick, 36-28.
Dunnstown held off a strong Newlyn side to win 47-42 while Rokewood-Corindhap was too good for Skipton, 48-34.
Reigning premiers Hepburn enjoyed a 64-25 win over Bungaree.
