Ballarat Health Services says the Main Road clinic is now back operating fully.
However, people who missed out on their vaccination on Thursday will need to book another appointment.
Police are still investigating the incident that involved a man getting shot and a car crashing into the pond at the Mercure.
EARLIER: People hoping to get a COVID vaccination at the Mercure today will need to rebook another appointment due to the sudden closure of the clinic.
Due to "an incident" that occurred overnight, the Main Road facility will be closed for all of Thursday.
According to a release from Ballarat Health Services, all appointments for today have been cancelled and there are no walk-ins available.
The closure is related to an incident in which a man attended the nearby APCO service station with a gunshot wound.
There were about 600 people booked in for vaccinations today and they are expected to be contacted by the health department or BHS.
IN OTHER NEWS
There has been no damage to the vaccine stocks or anything directly related to the vaccine rollout.
