A car has been found in a pond and a man with a gunshot wound fronted a service station amid dramatic scenes in Golden Point overnight.

Detectives are investigating after a man who had been shot attended a Main Road service station on Thursday morning.
Police say a man walked into the Golden Point service station about 4.15am with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
It is not yet known how he received the injury, but he has been taken to hospital for treatment.
Ambulance Victoria said he was in a stable condition.
The APCO Service Station on Main Road has been cordoned off this morning and police are on site.
A crime scene has also been established at the Mercure Hotel and Convention Centre about 300 metres away, with COVID vaccination appointments closed for the day.
There is a white hatchback with its bonnet submerged in the main pond on site at the convention centre.
There is a trail of blood between the two sites.
There are multiple uniformed police guarding the crime scene, while there are a number of detectives combing the area.
Main Road remains open to traffic.
It is understood the two incidents are related, but police are yet to provide any further detail on what happened.

According to a release from Ballarat Health Services, all appointments for today have been cancelled and there are no walk-ins available.
There has been no damage to the vaccine stocks or anything directly related to the vaccine rollout.
