Opting to bat, the hosts wasting little time asserting themselves on the game.
Openers Robert Chapman (73) and Jye-Leigh Drinkwater (60) laid the foundations before solid contributions from Aidan Graham (43*) and Adam Griffin (23) pushed Carranballac to an intimidating 4-246 at the end of its innings.

In response, Lismore Oddfellows' top order offered resistance, with Renan Walters (17) and Lachlan Nelson (19) impressing with the bat.
Wickets would fall too regularly, though, as Drinkwater (2-6), Marcus Graham (2-9) and Daniel Hooper (2-9) traded blows.
Only a late Aaron Stewart (22) showing saw the visitors to 112.
At Snake Valley Recreation Reserve, a tight bowling performance delivered Carngham an eight-wicket win against rivals Linton.
Deciding to bat, Linton found runs through Brodie Cramer (28) and Kirk McDonald (17) but struggled to break free.
Tight bowling from Cain Edwards (3-15 off 8) and Matthew Spratling (2-13 off 8) restricted Linton to 9-101 at the end of 40 overs.
Carngham wouldn't find batting as hard, racing into a dominant position.
Spratling (37) starred with the bat as well, while Jayden Edwards (53*) guided his side home in the 29th over.
Elsewhere, an unbeaten century for Haddon all-rounder Shaun McArthur proved to be in vain, as his side fell to a five-wicket loss against Lexton.
McArthur and Haddon were sent into bat by the visitors and weathered impressive early spells.
Tarquin Walsh (34) offered a supporting hand before he came the first of Andrew Doolan's three wickets.
Doolan was Lexton's sole wickettaker, finishing with figures of 3-38.
Chasing 186, Lexton opener Nicholas Germano didn't take his time, hitting 15 boundaries en route to a quickfire 79. His side reached the total in the 38th over.
