North Ballarat past player and administrator Allan Abrams has been honoured with Ballarat Football Netball League Hall of Fame legend status.

Abrams, who has spent more than 65 years in football, was elevated at the BFNL’s sixth hall of fame dinner at Ballarat Leagues Club on Monday night.
He becomes the sixth legend, joining Bill Henderson, Jim Gull, John Northey, George King and Peter O’Connell.
Abrams was among the inaugural inductees when the hall of fame was launched in 2008.
Another six football and netball figures were also inducted on Monday night – Barry Allan (Golden Point), Ian Baker (Redan and North Ballarat), Peter Brown (North Ballarat), Dan Jordan (East Point), Ken Nunn (Redan), Kerrie Romeril (East Ballarat and East Point).
Abrams stamped out 233 games for the Roosters, winning the 1959 and 1960 BFL under-18 best and fairests, and 1964, 1969 and 1971 BFL reserves best and fairests.
He was also North Ballarat senior best and fairest in 1966, as well as having a successful coaching career.
Abrams then embarked on making an extensive contribution as an administrator, with his roles including Roosters’ president from 1994 to 1997, which included their move into the VFL.
