More than 95 per cent of Ballarat residents aged 15 or above are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the latest government statistics.

Official counting stops once local government areas reach 95 per cent.
The City of Ballarat recorded 94.5 per cent of its 88,323 eligible residents were fully vaccinated last Monday, which means the city officially passed the target in the last seven days.
On Monday, two new cases were reported in the city.
It's well above the rate for the entire state, which is at just over 89 per cent, and the national rate, which is at 85.1 per cent.
Across the region, Moorabool, Golden Plains, and Hepburn shires are all above 95 per cent, while Pyrenees Shire is at 94.8 per cent, and should tick over in the next couple of days.
IN THE NEWS
Bendigo, Geelong, and Warrnambool are also all above 95 per cent - all regional shires are now above 90 per cent.
Vaccines are free and safe, and are available from pharmacies, GPs, and the mass vaccination hub at the Mercure Hotel on Main Road.
